“I deserve more than this.”

I need to remind myself of that. I think when you grow up being told you’re shit, those messages have a way of staying in the background, despite any evidence showing otherwise.

I am brave, I am strong. Too strong apparently. And too much. Why are they always intimidated by me? What do they see that I don’t?

Cause all I see are these tears and sadness.
