what are you thinking?

"what are you thinking?"

seemingly thousands of thoughts swimming in the black pool of my mind.

i try and take one of those thoughts from its insepid source but can only grasp a fragement remain of what was.

the same scenario happens again and again.

i can't grasp any true thought.

there are too many.

and there are too many too painful for you to take in.

so instead, i answer you simply:

"nothing"

because it's so much easier to say.
