no feeling

eyes wide open yet nothing is seen. heart left broken yet nothing is felt. a bottomless pit of no emotion. frozen cold. an undying realization of nonreaction. indignant response. tears are shed but no release. sadness encompassed in a series of smiles. distant with no hope. all she can do is stare blankly as her surroundings slowly freeze around her.

"this has to change," she quietly murmurs.
